Windows: installing USB/Serial for EKLM3S1968

To install the driver, you need to download the zip file directly from Luminary Micro website on this page; then click on Misc tab and dowload the file Stellaris FTDI driver. Once you have dowloaded and extracted the contents, proceed to the installation in this way:

• Connect the board to the PC. The Windows Wizard driver will start after a few moments;

• Click on continue and select the Advanced option.

• Select the directory where you extracted the drivers

• Complete the installation to correctly install the drivers.

Shortly afterwards Windows will ask you to install a new peripheral, which is the EK-LM3S1968 board virtual COM port. In this case, proceed as done before.
