Porting Service

Are you using a CPU not yet supported by BeRTOS? No problem!

Develer offers a fixed cost porting service to easily and quickly include your CPU to BeRTOS supported list.

Once you request a port we will confirm the porting's feasibility and we will contact you in a few days to start the work. The port will be ready within 60 days from your initial request.

What's included

A BeRTOS porting work on your CPU includes the following modules:

• kernel (all the options);
• Logging and debug modules;
• Timer driver;
• Serial driver.

Requirements

Fixed price porting is subject to certain conditions:

• the new CPU must be supported by GCC
• the new CPU must be a microcontroller without MMU

If you have different requirements we can still do a custom porting and estimate the cost.

Costs

The cost for each porting is independent on the chosen CPU and it's: 3.500€ + VAT.

Porting cost includes hardware purchasing (typically development boards and chip programmers).

The above cost refers to a port distributed under the same BeRTOS license and included in the next official release, although we can also consider ad hoc solutions.
